This is bad news. So I've been playing for a few years now, and within the last few weeks, my left hand has begun to lose circulation when I play. Some songs it's not too bad, and others, especially playing acoustic where my wrist is wrapped up and around more, there are times my hand can be almost totally numb by the time I get to the end of the song... which makes fingering just a tad difficult. I've been getting by okay in practice, but my band is finally playing another show two weeks from today, after having not played any in almost a year. I kinda want to be ready to put on a good one, but this is worrying me

The only thing that's changed is that I got a new guitar, and that seems to be about when the problems started. But it's no heavier than my Tremonti SE - a bit lighter, in fact. I'm using the same strap, holding it in the same way, etc. And even if it were that guitar in particular, it wouldn't explain me all of a sudden losing feeling in my hand during acoustic stuff since that's the same acoustic I've been using for the last year and a half.
I also know I've put on a few pounds -- but as a big hefty guy already, another 10-15 shouldn't make a big major difference in my circulation. And why JUST my left hand if that were the case?
It's almost always when I play guitar, but every once in a while, like right now as I type this, I can feel just a slight hint of a loss of sensation in it. Feeling it now, though, could be leftover from my 3-4 hour band practice earlier. I'm dreading that old "CT" word, but after growing up with computers and using them for years, and now playing guitar for the last few, I suppose it's not completely outside the realm of possibility.
Anyone ever experience this? And what sort of tips/tricks do you have to fight it, besides doing extra hand/arm stretches before you play (which I admittedly have never really done, but am going to start rigorously and religiously doing).
